Several of my bloggie friends have done this and I thought it was fun. It is free and they email you a copy. Of course mine had to be pink!

I been soooo busy!

Sorry that I have been slack in the blogging department, there is so much goin' on...always. We had mom's night out this weekend, we paired up for lady dates and then met up for dessert afterwards. Look, I am eating sushi!!! That's a big deal, and I think it was good.

Playdates! So fun.
Dinner out after some shopping. Abby crawled under the table when they delivered this dessert to Kane!

Too many trips to the Pink Crocodile, according to my check register! We went this Saturday to make footprint plates for Easter and had sooooo much fun! When I get them back, I will blog just how stinkin' cute they are!

Bruiser gets bruised

It's no secret that we have given Reese the nickname Bruiser...she is rough for a pretty little girl with curly brown locks. She's officially got her first black eye, to validate that alias! She and Abby were playing, while I was in the shower getting ready for date night. Abby tackled her and she hit her eye on the corner of our wooden trash can, which I didn't know at the time. I only knew she was crying, the norm for an 18 month old (tomorrow!) I keep showering and notice some blood begin to flow from a cut above her right eye. I am only slightly ashamed to admit that I finished my shower, after all, I only needed to shave under my arms to be done. By the time I get out, Abby has poked at the mysterious red stuff on Reese's face and smeared it all over her face and she looks like she's been attacked! I gave her hugs and cleaned her up . I was on the fence about stiches, it didn't look bad, but it IS her face. I decided to leave it alone. This morning when she woke up, or when I finally went to get her, she looked like this! Her eye was almost swollen shut! All is well now, but I just HAD to blog her first "real" boo-boo. And, in case you are wondering, the blue on her chin is crayon...not another boo-boo!

From the lips of Children

This morning I told Abby it was time to get dressed. She wanted to know why and I told her it was time for school. She didn't want to go, I said "You don't want to go?!" She said "uh-uh." I said "what!?" jokingly. She said "Uh-uh means no in panish." So funny

Anniebelle's Four!!!

Hiding from Boots, she was terrified.
On her second piece of cake, double fisting.
Nana (Kane's sister Meredith) saved me from Boots!
Look at the cake Nana made! So yummy, most of us had TWO pieces.
There may have been some cotton candy! And suckers, and was a sugary day!

A great day

UPDATE: The Tiffany box had a gold "Return to Tiffany" signature heart pendant in it....that's what I hinted for, by email of the link. ;) I tried to get a picture but you could only do a link, which had all the purchase info and price. Not as much fun to include all of that stuff!

This year is the first year, that I can remember, that we had a really great Valentine's Day! It may have taken Kane 12 years to get the hang of it but I think it was worth the wait. We started off the day with flowers for me and ballons for the girls...then the little blue box that no special occasion is complete without. He remembered everything. The girls and I visited my parents at work to pick up some surcies and hangout. Then we had Chick fil a for lunch. I did have to do some bookwork during naptime which stunk, but that is normal. Kane and I went to dinner downtown at a really yummy place and had a really nice and romantic evening. It was great...I am ready for next year already!!!
When we were visiting Mimi and Papa, it was time to go. My Dad said Abby, I love you. See you later alligator...I said "Abby, what do you say?" She said " my daddy say 'peace out.' "She is so hillarious!

Chuck E. Cheese

We went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate Annie's birthday, because her party isn't until Sunday.
Somehow, I managed to leave without a picture of the birthday girl, but I didn't get many pictures at all. It is so busy and hectic keeping track of two girls by yourself, there's not much time for anything else...except eating too much pizza! We had a great time and are sooo glad that Annie had a good time too. I did manage to get pictures of these cute crown cups they have at Chuck E Cheese's, we love them.

Today we had some visitors! The Jeffcoats came for the afternoon, we had such a great time. Abby loves to play with the boys and get some of her tom boy energy out...although it seems Cole like to get some of his primping done while he visits with her too! By the time they are all grown, I am sure she will have some blackmail pics of all of her boyfriends!

Just a Swingin'

The girl's new favorite pastime is swinging in this toy bag. Daddy can only do it so long and he get's tired...and that's when Reeser gets devastated. She cannot handle sharing just yet and taking turns is out of the question!

Sneaky Sneaky

Sunday morning, we lingered in bed a little too long....ok a lot too long. Kane got up to find this, the couch covered in m&m wrappers. These were Valentines for school, Abby opened up every single bag. At first, we thought she ate them all. But then she was telling us some strange story about putting them in her hat and washing them and something about red water. So Kane looked in the trash in her bathroom and found the pink baseball cap, now red, and handfulls of naked m&m's. The bathroom was covered with pink sticky m&m juice. Strange. Don'tcha love the strange things kids do? What I would give for a day to sleep in...I may have to wait 15 years, or for a vacation! Maybe I'll start planning one now!

The great escape

The day that I posted naked bookkeeping, the girls and I all took a nap at the same time...finally. I was almost asleep when I heard a door open and shut. I yelled to Abby to get back in bed. Suddenly a smiling face appeared at my bed side. It was Reese. At 17 months old, she managed to climb out of her crib. That has to be some kind of record. I was sick and so tired, so I put her, screaming, back in the crib and got back in bed. Then I heard a boom. She tried to climb out a second time, perhaps a bit too quickly. She got carpet burn on her face and a bloody lip. Neither of us got to nap that day. I have since taken the bumper out of her bed...I think she used it for a boost. She has yet to successfully escape again.

Last night, Kane and I were watching tv and heard Abby. We got up and quietly went to her door for a listen. She was singing, with the lights on. When we went in to corral her, we found her in the bed singing a song about burried treasure. She had hidden her booty, a handful of jewelry, under her sheets. She was having the best time.

Sorry that I've been MIA...I have been sick with a nasty and persistent fever for almost 4 days. I feel straight up nasty. I am actually sitting at the computer topless, too much info I know, doing payroll. I am 102.5 and sweating like crazy. I even chased Kane downstairs, sick naked is just not good naked.
