Hoppy Easter!!!

Saturday, the girls and I went to the church Easter hunt. It was at our brand new facility which is awesome. We had a great time and they ate way too much candy, got their faces painted and went home with balloons. We even did some more hunting when we got home because the weather was just too beautiful to stay inside. Sunday. we went to Dena's for lunch and some MORE huntin'! Grannie Nannie was cookin', which is hard to resist...so were seconds! We had such a blessed holiday weekend, I can't wait to put away all those plastic eggs! They are EVERYWHERE! And, apparently, I did not learn my lesson at Christmas. All the junk I got barely fit in the baskets. They sure don't need all of it, I hope I remember that next year!

What fun! And such cute baskets! I did the same thing with too much and ended up putting some stuff away for their birthdays next week! Ridiculous! I know what you mean about all those eggs! The girls look so cute in their outfits. How on earth did you keep them clean?

Too too cute. Hey, at least the baskets were overflowing. In my state of feeling crummy I didn't get either girl an Easter basket... after the first 6 people at church asked Morgan what she got in her Easter basket and she looked at them puzzled I started feeling very guilty! Thankfully the grandparents pulled through for me! :) Hey, I save a bunch of money... maybe I'll be sick next year too... then they'll be 3 baskets to filL! :)

I do the same thing at Christmas. I start picking up a few things early and then I think I'm done. Then all the great year end deals come along and I can't help myself!

Yeah - I've got the same problem. Although it does get easier when they're older. Stuff is to expensive for that age group.
They sure look cute at their hunt though.

I was interested to read your blog. As a parent you may be interested in being part of a university study I'm involved with. It’s about how infants and children develop. It wouldn’t take much of your time, and it’s a great way to contribute to knowledge by reporting on your own experiences. So cute! The girls look precious! My kids wanted to know where the easter "grass" was...I can't stand that stuff...I guess they had seen it at their friends house or something :)
