summer fun

(The picture uploader is down...sorry)

I have been playing with the girls lots, I just love it. Last week I cleaned out over half of our toys and gave them away! It feels so good to get rid of some of the clutter. I di get a few new ones! ;) They have been playing more, so I don't know if they can find them better or they are just interesting because they are organized.

I have been working out a lot, I am really enjoying it. I do spin, pilates, cardio and abs on alternating days and it has been great. We go every morning and the girls play and we are gone by 11:30 to do whatever the rest of our day holds.

I tried a new babysitter last week for date night, Molly. She did great and it is always nice to have a back up to the family.

I saw two movies this weekend...Get Smart which was very fun, a great datenight movie. We also saw Wanted, which was very violent (R) but it was fun and I always enjoy an Angelina action movie!

I hope to blog more...I have just been soooooo busy! Sorry if I haven't visited in a while, I hope to soon.

Reese tried out their little brothers harness while we were there. It worked great...but I am still leaving her home next time!

Happy Birthday Mr. Rogers

Today we went over to our friend Margaret's house to help her decorate some cupcakes for her daddy, Rogers', birthday. Abby was the master pastry chef, she must take after her Aunt Meredith, while Reese entertained Miss. Margaret. Reese sure does like a baby! That is until there is some taste testing to be done! ;) We had so much fun testing cupcakes and making a mess of her toys. And Abby loved her Fancy Nancy doll, that is going to be on the birthday list! We even came home with some spoils of our labor...cupcakes and a Fancy Nancy book to borrow! What fun we had, Abby can't wait to have Margaret check our toys out too! Happy Birthday Mr. Rogers!

Film Review Friday

The Hulk....seen one seen them all? Not quite. We really enjoyed this new version with Ed Norton, which is actually a sequel to the first with different actors. I think this one was better than the first one and if you like a comic book classic-made action will really enjoy this. It is great Summer fun. I wouldn't say that it was as good as Iron Man, but if you enjoyed Iron Man this is a must see.

Father's Day lunch at Outback

Playdate at Chickie-A
Avoiding Mama, whose trying to buckle them in after the pet store!

As usual, we have been so busy. I am finding it difficult to find time for blogging these days. Sorry if I have been neglecting your sites and comments. I don't know how moms do it without working. That is when I have always blogged...while the nanny was here or while they were at school or napping. As a full time Mom and Abby doesn't nap anymore, there's just no time! But what there has been time for is playdates and pool time. I have had the best time with my is priceless. I wish I had gotten a book keeper sooner! We go to the YMCA in the mornings and then we head for target, the pool, play dates or Chick-fil-A. Last week we went the pet store which was fun, it was the first time Reese really engaged in it. She loved the cats especially, she squealed with delight.

A milestone

Finally, Reese was the first one up, and out, this morning. She climbed out of her crib at about 7:30 this morning and woke everyone else up! JOY ! She had done this at naptime before once a few months ago but this is the first time in the morning. Abby was doing this a lot at her age, so I guess I should count my lucky stars...

Film Review Friday

We went to see Adam Sandlers new Zohan movie last night for date night. I really expected it to be laugh out loud funny, sadly it was not. There was lots of sexual inuendos that were shocking and sometimes silly. I don't ever need to watch that again...I might skip it actually if I had to choose again. Sad, I usually like his movies...

Movie Night

Sex and the City is finally out and a few of us gals decided to make a night of it. We had drinks and appetizers and then headed to the movies with our fandango receipts in hand. We had such a great time, it was a festive occasion. I even wore high heels to stick with the theme. I never watched the television series but I enjoyed it. It was very fun and I enjoyed all of the fun fashion. I will say it earned it's R rating...the shy and modest at heart might want to skip this one. If you can stomach it, it makes for a fun girls night out...just don't forget your heels!
