Teacher gifts

Here are some fun teacher's gifts that I whipped up for Reese's teachers. Such a great and easy gift. I got the towels from Wal-Mart for $1.50 each and then appliqued them with this.

I had planned to make some for me but never got around to it. Maybe next year...there's always next year!

Hey Leslie! I wanted to introduce myself since I have been "stalking" your blog for awhile now. I have NO IDEA how I found your site... maybe I had googled "smocking blog" or something. My sewing isn't near as lovely as yours, but I do LOVE to sew! My favorite is french handsewing and smocking, but mostly I just have time for "quick" stuff...plus, I have no money for fine laces :) We are in the process of adopting a little girl from Ethiopia, and I have been doing some sewing to help raise the funds to bring her home. Like I said.... it isn't near as cute as what you do, but if you want to see it you can go to www.flitterbugs.blogspot.com Your girls are precious, and I hope to one day have an embrodiery machine (a Viking!) So I can make cheap wal mart stuff way cute!!!
